Course Title:

Design for Quality, Reliability and Durability

Instructor:

To Be Assigned

Course Description:

This course discusses the definitions of Quality, Reliability and durability as perceived by the end user of a product. Detailed discussion for each of these attributes and their flow down to engineering requrements is conducted. A systemayic approach is then developed for the design, development and validation of a product to meet these requirements.  Simulation techniques needed for analysis and validation are discussed along with several case studies.

Course Objectives:

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

1. Have a better understanding for Quality, Reliability and Durability

2. Design, develop and validate for Quality, Reliability and Durability
