Jacob Corvidae from the WARM Training Center in Detroit was the featured speaker at the March FOLA Speaker Series, sharing his expertise on creative solutions for green buildings. Trent Sutherland, GEO President, was one of the panelists posing real life case problems of ways to lower energy use at Kettering. Ariel Childress, GEO Treasurer was also instrumental in putting on the event.

Kettering graduate Jeff Bargiel is pushing "pond scum" as the biofuel technology answer to U.S. energy needs.
Three Kettering/GMI alums collaborated to retrofit the Wood County District Public Library in Bowling Green, Ohio, bookmobile to use compressed natural gas as fuel, to save the library some green while going green.
Solar, fuel cell, nuclear, biogas, biofuels and wind, Kettering University offers it all in the "Get Energized" sustainable energy pre-college program for 9-12 graders.
