New Robots:
Congratulations to the fall 2009 B-Section initiates into Kettering’s prestigious Robot Honor Society. The newest Robots are students Valentin Hernandez, Bi Zan Valery Lorou, Jenae Nicole Moore and Patrick Ryan Neal. The Robot Honor Society recognizes outstanding leadership qualities in extra-curricular activities.

Come be on TV:
Kettering will host the WJRT-TV 12 Spirit Squad on Wednesday, Nov. 25, with live TV shots between 5-7 a.m. from the Great Court. Students from Kettering, U-M-F, Mott CC and Baker will be part of a spirited promotion for the College Town Holiday Food Drive. WKUF will provide music. This event is open to the Kettering community. Explore entrepreneurship:
Kettering’s Tech Works, MI-SBTDC office and Michigan Works! Career Alliance are offering dislocated workers and others an opportunity to explore entrepreneurship. A no-cost information session, “Is Entrepreneurship Right for You?” is Dec. 1 at the Gateway Conference Center on Hill Road from 4-5:30 p.m. See the flyer.

Even more flu clinics added:
The three flu clinics scheduled for Nov. 10, 12 & 17 have been expanded to include Nov. 19 & 24 at new locations. Both the nasal and shot forms of the vaccine are now available and the priority groups have been expanded. Get more details.

Flint traffic
