NASA-Atlantis.jpg
This amazing picture of Shuttle Atlantis, STS-129 (Shuttle Transportation System) was taken by one of student Andrew Davis' managers. A Junior I in Computer Engineering, he works for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center. The six-astronaut crew took a trip to the Space Station Nov. 16 during his co-op term. Andrew was very close to the launch pad, roughly three miles away. He reports that there are only five more shuttle launches remaining, all taking place this year in 2010. See more photos and read about the rocket they are developing to replace the shuttle.
