Retired Delphi CEO Rodney O'Neal '76 to speak at Kettering University Commencement ceremonies in June
Rodney O'Neal, a 1976 Kettering University graduate and former Delphi Automotive PLC CEO and president, will deliver the Kettering University Commencement Address on June 20.
During his tenure as CEO, O'Neal led Delphi through a historic reorganization that transformed the company into a premier entity.

Commencement and Graduation
Commencement is the ceremony honoring degree candidates and those who have already received degrees. Commencement occurs in June each year.
Graduation is the actual awarding of a degree. Degrees are awarded after each term; March, June, September and December. The graduation and diploma date are always the last date of the graduating term.
Commencement Event Registration
To accommodate all graduates and guests, it is necessary for you to RSVP. The deadline for RSVPs is Friday, June 5.
To complete the RSVP, you must provide your Kettering email address (e.g. email@example.com).
Purchasing Announcements and Cap & Gown
The deadline for ordering announcements and your cap & gown regalia through Jostens on-line has passed. Students must call Jostens at (800) 854-7464, ext.15014 to speak with Jostens directly if they need to order. Your accouncements and cap & gown will be mailed to you directly from Jostens.
Cap & Gown Information
- Bachelors Cap, Gown and Tassel with year charm is $23.55 plus tax and a shipping fee of $11.95.
- Masters Cap, Gown, Tassel with year charm and hood is $47.60 plus tax and a shipping fee of $11.95. Jostens will ask you to indicate your major to ensure you receive the appropriate hood.
When you receive your gown, we recommend you immediately remove the packaging and hang the gown (and hood if applicable) to remove all wrinkles. Gowns may be steamed but not pressed as pressing will damage your gown.
