During the last few months, ten new staff members have joined the Kettering Community in a variety of roles and departments.
Felix Beda-Andourou joined Cooperative Education and Experiential Learning in May as the part-time Experiential Learning Coordinator. Felix will work with students who participate in the Experiential Education Program. Felix has several years of related higher education experience. He has a Master of Science degree from Nova Southeastern University and is currently pursuing a second master’s degree in international business administration.
Cara Boeff joined the University Advancement Development team in April as the Senior Director of Philanthropy. She brings more than 24 years of development experience with Michigan State University and other nonprofit organizations. Cara is a graduate of Michigan State University and loves to garden and travel.
Samantha Bol joined the Library as Curatorial Clerk. She will be working in the Kettering University Archives in the Campus Center. Samantha is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Flint and has interned at the Sloan Museum and the Buick Gallery and Research Center.
Wendy Bussure joined the IT Operations team in May as a part-time Desktop Technician. She is currently attending Mott Community College and also has experience there as a help desk extern.
Abbey Kaiser joined the Academic Success Center in July as the Supplemental Learning Coordinator.
Eric Kimball joined the Campus Safety team in June as a Safety Officer. He has related security experience in the Flint area.
Andrea Knight joined the Campus Safety team in June as a Safety Officer. She is a graduate of Ferris State University in Criminal Justice and has related security experience.
James Murphy joined the Marketing-Communications team in May as Project Specialist. James is a graduate of University of Michigan, Flint and has experience in social media and marketing.
James Pendelton joined the Campus Safety Team in July as a Safety Officer. He has experience from the Michigan Department of Human Services and Department of Corrections.
Amy Ring joined Cooperative Education and Experiential Education in May as a Cooperative Education Manager/Educator. Amy has a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration and Student Personnel from Kent State University along with related higher education experience.
