Why did you choose Kettering University?
"I felt most at home at Kettering. The involvement of the students really appealed to me. Plus, the co-op opportunites are great, too!"
What are the five best things about Kettering?
- All of the ways for the students to be involved on campus and in the community.
- Students prioritize school first - they don't pressure you to put your homework on the back burner.
- The connections I've made with all of Kettering's faculty, staff and students.
- Having the work experiences through the co-op program.
- Greek Life on campus.
What was your coolest co-op assignment?
"I worked on creating a coating for use by the Google Corporation. My boss really put the assignment in my hands and left it up to me, and it was a success!"
What advice would you give students considering attending Kettering?
"I would tell them that if the co-op opportunities aren't enough to sway them, that the environment here is truly one of learning. I've never felt more at home, and it's refreshing to be around people on your intellectual level. Not that Kettering students don't know how to have fun! There's always something to do on campus, and people are always excited to try new things. I think, basically, the best part is that you are someone at Kettering University. You get the attention you need because we care."
