Why did you choose Kettering University?

I selected Kettering for a multitude of reasons. One of course being the co-op program and for  pre-med it is not only essential that I get a great education but also some real world experience to ensure that it is really what I want to do. Knowing this, I chose Kettering at first for the co-op but fell in love with the small”er” size of the university. Kettering feels like a second home, the people are truly wonderful and are always looking out for your best interest.

What are the five best things about Kettering?

  1. The people, staff and student body.
  2. Beautiful campus that is always finding some way to improve.
  3. Co-op experience.
  4. The dedication and “go get ‘em” attitude of the student body.
  5. Diversity of people.

What was your coolest co-op assignment?

My entire work term is amazing. As a scribe in a hospital I have one of the best jobs a pre-med student could ask for. I am constantly learning and seeing new things. I realize that getting to know the doctors while helping them with their electronic medical records has led to so many learning opportunities and chances to see so much in the medical field.

What advice do you have for students considering Kettering University?

Choosing a college is one of the most difficult and life changing experiences a person could have and I promise you that Kettering is the place to be and you will not regret it. I strongly encourage you to visit as often as possible and ask to experience a class or two. The choice is yours and I think it’s quite clear that the best choice is truly Kettering University.
