Sign Up for Order of the Engineer

Senior II and Senior III engineering students may sign up for the Order of the Engineer during weeks 5-9 of Fall Term.  After paying the $25 fee at the Cashier or Student Accounts, take the receipt to IME Department, 1700 AB and fill out the form.  The fee can be recouped by taking the FE exam within two years.

The induction ceremony will be held over the noon hour on Monday, December 3. 

Order of the Engineer inductions are performed only during Summer and Fall terms.

Martial Arts Club

 

Dr. Richard Stanley (ME) is Kettering’s Martial Arts Club instructor!  Classes meet on M,W @ 7:00-8:30 PM, starting week #2. No registration is required & classes are free. Just show up at 7:00 PM on Monday! Dr. Stanley holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and a 3rd degree purple belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitzu. Both striking and Brazilian Jiu Jitzu (BJJ) will be taught.

Physics Club presents President Robert McMahan

The Kettering University Physics Club and the Physics Department will present a special guest lecture by President Robert McMahan.  The lecture will be held on 7th Friday, August 24, 2012, at 12:20 p.m. in AB 1-819.  Dr. McMahan will present a lecture titled "Cosmology 101: Life, the Universe and Everything" and discuss his work in physics and astronomy. Refreshments will be provided. All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend!
