MMA The Kettering Way!!!

Kettering's Martial Arts Club is a free Student Government sponsored event. It is open to all Kettering faculty, staff, and alumni.

Dr. Richard Stanley (M.E.) is the faculty adviser and instructor. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and also is a highly ranking Brazilian Jiu Jitzu (BJJ) practitioner and instructor.

Classes are held on M, W from 6 - 7:30 p.m. in the rec center. No previous experience is required. Just dress in comfortable clothes (i.e. sweats, t-shirts, etc.)

Trap and Skeet Club

Learn safe shooting principles and practice shooting fundamentals in the games of Trap, Skeet, Five Stand, and Sporting Clays.

We will meet in the Great Court and then car pool to the sportsman's club.

-No equipment or experience necessary (but personal equipment is allowed)

Kagle Tutor/Coach Orientation

Kagle Leadership Initiatives provides a great opportunity for Kettering University students to work with students in Flint and surrounding communities.

Community tutoring is held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during weeks 2-9 Fall, Winter and spring terms, from 6-8 p.m.

The START program (Successful Tools for Achieving Realistic Targets) is geared toward 8th grade students as a high school readiness course. The workshops run for 8 weeks and are led by Kettering University coaches.
