Weekly Firebirds meeting

Come join Firebirds during lunch in the Cribathon (Room 2-225 of the AB Building). Enjoy free food and the company of other Car Enthusiasts. If you would like to come to our events come to the meeting to get the forms you need to go.

Every week someone will showcase their ride and watch videos (both new and old) of news in the automobile industry or people acting crazy.

MMA The Kettering Way: Martial Arts Club starts on Monday of week #2

Kettering's Martial Arts Club is a free Student Government sponsored Event. It is open to all Kettering Faculty, Staff, and Alumni.

Dr. Richard Stanley (M.E.) is the faculty adviser and instructor. He holds a 3rd degree black belt in Tang Soo Do and is also a high ranking Brazilian Jiu Jitzu (BJJ) practitioner and instructor.

Classes are held on M, W from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m. in the rec center. No previous experience is required. Just dress in comfortable clothes (i.e. sweats, t-shirts, etc.)

Off Road Club Meeting

Club meeting to go over planned trips and review responsible ORV use or new and innovative products. The group is open to any one with a quad, dirt bike, or full size truck/jeep. Passengers are always welcome to attend the trips.

Dealing with Student's with Disabilities

Please join the Wellness Center as we have our on-site counselor Amanda Lambert, MA, LLPC present on working with students with disabilities through CETL a collaboration. Come learn some of the common disabilities that are prevalent on campus and learn ways of handling them in your encounters with students.

This is not just for faculty, this is for everyone who works with students. Lunch will be provided for the first 50 people at 2-225 AB on October 10 at 12:20 p.m.

Several FIRST teams win awards at Kettering Kickoff

Ice Cream Time!

Finals are on the way... It's a good time for ice cream.  Stop over to the C.S. Mott Building for some ice cream treats!  Weather permitting we will be outside in front of the Mott Bldg. Alternative cold location is inside the Mott Bldg.

HLC Self-Study Town Hall Presentation

The Higher Learning Commission (HLC) is scheduled to come for a reaccreditation visit in early 2014.  The University has written a self-study in preparation for the visit and we need your feedback!

The self-study covers the five criterions listed below:

Criterion Two – Integrity: Ethical and Responsible Conduct

Criterion Three – Teaching and Learning: Quality, Resources, and Support
