The Physics Department will be holding its 2014 A-section Departmental Awards Event on Thursday, March 20, 2014, at 12:20 p.m. in AB 2-601 (PAL Studio). The department will present awards to students for academic achievement and service to the department, among others. All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be served.
Kettering University is the honored host of the 58th annual Flint Regional Science Fair on campus, March 14-17. Students in grades 4-12 from Genesee, Shiawassee, Lapeer, St. Clair and Tuscola counties compete for $30,000 in scholarships and prizes.
The fair will be in the International Room, open to the public after 2pm on Saturday. The Awards Ceremony is Sunday afternoon in McKinnon Theater.

YouthQuest, a free, innovative afterschool enrichment program for K-8 youth in Genesee County sponsored by the Genesee Area Chamber of Commerce will be on campus Thursday, February 27th. YouthQuest works with over 1,000 children every year. We will be partnering with them to help train their Site Team Leaders and Learning Guides on how to bring STEM into their afterschool program.
