The Kettering University alumni roster has many innovators and entrepreneurs in its ranks. Now students can get a head start launching their own companies through the new minor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

Sixteen ideas were pitched for cash awards, and hundreds clicked to vote on videos, during the 2009 Innovation Challenge at Kettering University.

Six Kettering students won Michigan's Collegiate DECA State Career Development Conference and now qualify for the international competition in April.
