Ph.D. from Wayne State University in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in gaseous electronics, high-voltage systems, and power systems.

Michael Elta

Dr. Michael Elta, associate professor of Electrical Engineering
Ph.D. from the University of Michigan in Electrical Engineering, with expertise in solid-state devices, optics, electronics manufacturing and VLSI processing.

Another alumnus, Elta feels Kettering students have an advantage over students at traditional universities in that they gain practical experience from their co-op employment that can be directly related to their field of academic study.

Hua Bai

Dr. Hua Bai, assistant professor of Electrical Engineering
Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, China

Hua Bai was born in Chifeng City, Inner-Mongolia, China in 1980. He received B S and PHD degree in Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University., Beijing, China in 2002 and 2007, respectively. Bai was a post-doc fellow and research scientist in Univ of Michigan-Dearborn, USA, in 2007 and 2009, respectively. Now he is an assistant professor in Department of Electrical and Compurter Engineering, Kettering University, MI, USA.
