Ozzie Zehner, Visiting Scholar at the University of California, Berkeley, and author of Green Illusions: The Dirty Secrets of Clean Energy and the Future of Environmentalism (University of Nebraska Press, 2012) will deliver the Albert Sobey Lecture on Leadership and Ethics on August 2, 2012 from 12:15-1:15 in AB 2-225 (the "Crib-a-Thon"). .
Meet Kip Darcy, Kettering's new Vice President for Marketing, Communications and Enrollment. He will speak about his thoughts on the future of Kettering and you will have the opportunity to ask him questions. Lunch will be provided to the first 100 people. Event hosted by Academic Council.
The Kettering University Physics Club and the Physics Department will present a second special guest lecture by President Robert McMahan. The event will be held on 7th Tuesday, May 15, 2012, at 12:20 p.m. in the Crib-A-Thon (Room 2-225 AB).
Dr. McMahan will present a follow-up to his previous seminar entitled "Cosmology 101: Life, the Universe and Everything." (Please note that you need not have attended his previous seminar to attend this one.) Refreshments will be provided. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to attend.

The Kettering University Physics Club and the Physics Department present a special guest lecture by President Robert McMahan. The lecture will be held on 5th Wednesday, May 2, 2012, at 12:20 p.m. in the Physics Active Learning (PAL) Studio, Room 2-601 AB. Dr. McMahan will discuss his experience working in physics and astronomy and taking questions from the audience. Refreshments will be provided. All students, staff, and faculty are encouraged to attend!
Lieutenant Commander Sean Scully will be visiting to talk about the Health Professional Scholarship Program (HPSP) the U. S. Navy offers. This scholarship could apply to anyone going into a medically related field. Lunch will be provided. This event will be from 12:30 - 1:15 in The Miller Lab (3225 MC).
