The Technician is a media organization sponsored by Kettering Student Government and advised by Department of Liberal Studies faculty member Dr. David Marshall. The print newspaper comes out three times per term, informing, entertaining, and energizing the Kettering community by providing information that directly affects the Kettering University community. The Technician also has a web edition.

Kettering Merit Scholarships reward academic excellence. All accepted domestic transfer applicants who meet the following criteria will receive a Kettering Merit Scholarship. At the time of acceptance, students will receive their initial scholarship award.
Kettering Incoming Transfer Student Scholarships*
$15,500 Phi Theta Kappa ScholarshipStudents with a GPA of 3.5 or above, 30 credit hours (minimum) and are a member of Phi Theta Kappa, will receive an annual award of $15,500.
