Mission Statement

To promote and encourage opportunities for students, Faculty and Staff to get involved in improving the community in which they live and work.

To organize and coordinate events and opportunities for Students, Staff, and Faculty to part take in charitable causes both locally and nationally.

To Foster a greater sense of unity within the Kettering University Community and the Flint Community at large.

Kettering University, Real Service and the American Cancer Society are teaming up for Relay for Life, scheduled to take place May 30 & 31, 2008.

Time is quickly passing, so if you haven't gotten your team together do so today. This event promises to be on the the bigest things to hit the Kettering campus since the opening of the crash labs. Recent/On-going Community Service Events/Opportunities:

UP 'TIL DAWN - is a student organized philanthropy event which benefits the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Founder Danny Thomas said, "No child should die in the dawn of life." With your help and participation we can fulfill Danny Thomas' dream. Everyday at the St.Jude Research Hospital miracles happen. Lives are saved, and Children live for another day, while their parents stay up 'til dawn by their bedsides wishing for a cure. Help support the creation of miracles by participating in the UP 'TIL DAWN program or by contributing to it's success. Real Service is a student run organization whose primary purpose is to promote awareness of community service opportunities for student's, faculty and staff. The organization meets throughout the term to plan and discuss future community service events. For more information please contact the advisor at the number listed at the bottom of this page.

  • WKUF-LP 94.3 FM is not just the Kettering Campus Radio Station. It is also YOUR radio station. WKUF serves all of greater Flint, community groups and amateur radio DJ's are welcome to sign up for program space, and host your own radio show.
