Video Pitch instructions:

  • Your pitches should be enthusiastic and creative. (backdrops, props, models, music, your partners, whatever are all cool)
  • Identify yourself: name – (school) - major – grade – title/name of your innovation
  • Tell how you thought of the idea – in class, in the shower, eating tacos – you get the idea
  • Explain your idea – what is it, how is it to be used, why is it cool, novel, or interesting, why would anyone/any company want or need one
  • State what you’d need to do to see if the idea could work
  • What reactions have you received from anyone you’ve told about this idea
  • Give a shout out to your favorite peeps, frats, classmates or professors! (hello to mom and dad also acceptable)
  • Pitch cannot be longer than 90 seconds…less time is ok though
