Retired Delphi CEO Rodney O'Neal '76 to speak at Kettering University Commencement ceremonies in June

Rodney O'Neal '76Rodney O'Neal, a 1976 Kettering University graduate and former Delphi Automotive PLC CEO and president, will deliver the Kettering University Commencement Address on June 20.

During his tenure as CEO, O'Neal led Delphi through a historic reorganization that transformed the company into a premier entity.

Change of Hours in Central Receiving and Support

In our ongoing effort to improve service to our customers, starting Monday, April 6 our hours of operation will be from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday - Friday. UPS and FedEx services will be available until 4:30 p.m., however packages requiring next day delivery need to be received by 3 p.m.



Construction Season Has Begun

You may have noticed orange barrels popping up lately, especially on the highways. MDOT has begun preparations for spring and summer road construction projects.

MDOT has just released an update on the work that will resume April 8 on I-69 and end in November 2015. It will affect travel both east and west, requiring lane closures and detours. Read more.

Holidays

The following dates have been designated as 2015-2016 Kettering University holidays. Kettering will be closed for business on these dates: 

  • Friday, July 3, 2015 
  • Monday, September 7, 2015 
  • Thursday, November 26 & Friday, November 27, 2015 
  • Thursday, December 24 & Friday December 25, 2015
  • Monday, December 28, 2015 through Friday, January 1, 2016 
  • Monday, May 30, 2016 

In addition, regular employees are eligible for two floating holidays that may be scheduled with manager’s advance approval.

Upgraded Video Streaming Platform

Effective Spring Term (April 6, 2015), Kettering is introducing an upgraded video streaming platform for Graduate courses. Due to this upgrade, DVDs and CDs will no longer be needed or distributed.
