Traverse City, Michigan - May 15, 2009

Alumni and their guests from northern Michigan gathered May 15, 2009 at the Top of the Park in Traverse City to connect with each other and learn what was new at Kettering. The lovely reception was hosted by Peter and Kim Schmitz, both GMI-EMI class of 1988 grads and owners of Annie's of Traverse City gift shop and Acts of Love Home Companions senior services agency. Many of the 25+ attendees started the event with a tour of the Historic Traverse City Opera House, where incidentally, there has never been an actual opera performed. A good time was had by all, and the view of the Grand Traverse Bay was exceptional.
