Steelcase, Inc., Co-op Employer of the Year, Grand Rapids, Michigan - October 10, 2005

As usual, our West Michigan group of alumni did it again!! On October 10, 2005 Kettering University’s West Michigan Alumni Chapter presented Steelcase, Inc. with the Co-op Employer of the Year award. Steelcase currently employs 2 Kettering University students. Armen Oumedian ’49, Jim Burke ’60, Dave Hogan ’74 and Bob Mock ’57 are the chapter leaders for West Michigan. The event was held at Steelcase Headquarters’ in Grand Rapids, Michigan where there were 27 alumni, 12 guests, 1 student and 6 staff members in attendance.

Kettering University’s 6th president, Dr. Stan Liberty, was there to talk to alumni, students and perspective students about his career thus far as well as his vision for Kettering University in the upcoming years. He also welcomed questions from the attendees as well.
