Speed Mentoring - July 30, 2009

On July 30, 14 alumni came back to campus for dinner and the chance to Speed Mentor a group of tired, yet enthusiastic young women who are considering engineering careers. The girls were in residence on campus for two weeks participating in Kettering’s pre-college program: LITE—Lives Improve Through Engineering. These young women were excited to receive the wisdom and advice gained through our alums 230 years of collective experience! This event was considered so successful that next year’s Speed Mentoring program is already in the planning stages. Thank you to all who gave of their time and in the process received so much for their effort. If you’re interested in future women’s events being held at Kettering contact Eve at evitale@kettering.edu.
