President's Perspective

We recently commissioned local artist James Conner of Grand Blanc to create this beautiful montage of Kettering/GMI images. Included in the montage are the Academic Building, the Bell Tower, the Campus Center, the Mott Center, the Recreation Center and other elements of the campus, like “General Determination,” the Robot Society key, a crash dummy, and a picture of the stylish Corvette that was assembled on campus. We think it captures the beauty and character of our campus.
Mr. Conner has supplied us with 7”x9” prints of the montage matted in Kettering blue and gold suitable for framing in an 11”x14” frame. They can be purchased for $35 each, which includes a $15 contribution (tax deductible as provided by law) in support of scholarships. We hope the montage will trigger fond memories of your alma mater, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary later this year.
