Dave Quintanilla writes, “I left a promising career at GM and went back home to work for my father's large plastics company in Jersey. But, doing my MBA, I got bitten by the stock market bug. So I took a job as an unpaid intern (for six months!!!!) on Wall Street with a large firm (think of the Will Smith movie "In the Pursuit of Happiness"). I finished my internship and quickly rose to "Junior Trader" within my first three months. I am currently the lead trader for our hedge fund and taking advantage of the highs and lows with the market. Weird for an engineer to work on Wall Street, isn't it? Well I am currently living in Cranford, NJ, and have condo in the So-Ho section of New York City (my neighbor is Eli Manning of the Giants), and doing my MBA at the New York University Stern School of Business.
