NSBE/Alumni Association Golf Outing, Woodlands of Van Buren, Wayne, Michigan - August 27, 2005

The Kettering University Office of Alumni Affairs, NSBE and Bill Osborne ‘83 hosted a golf outing for Kettering/GMI alumni and friends who were invited to play 18 holes of golf with our students from NSBE, National Society of Black Engineers, which was held at The Woodlands of Van Buren in Wayne, Michigan on August 27, 2005.

The day started with an 8 a.m. tee time with the 19th hole as the destination which came sooner than we thought. The rain might have chased us off the course after 12 holes but it didn’t stop us from enjoying the rest of the day. After reaching our destination there was a small get together for refreshments, lunch and prizes. There was an assortment of gifts given to all participants. The first place team included alumni Bill Osborne ’83, Davie Henry ’87 and student Chrystal Williams, NSBE vice president.

We would like to thank all of those who made the event a success. If you would like to be updated on our list of events or would like to host an event, you can contact the Office of Alumni Affairs at 888-884-7741 ext. 9883, or by email to mtriplet@kettering.edu.
