Jim McCaslin ’74 the President and COO of Harley Davidson - May 16, 2007

On May 16, 2007, over 170 alumni, guests, students and staff gathered to hear Jim McCaslin ’74 the President and COO of Harley Davidson tell the incredible story and history of the Harley Davidson Company.  McCaslin born in Flint and raised in Saginaw, Michigan, has been a motorcycle enthusiast for more than 10 years. Harley Davidson’s product continues to be American made.  Attendees wore their “Harley Gear” in the traditional orange and black colors.  McCaslin was also honored by the Southeastern Michigan Chapter and given the Distinguished Alumnus Award.  Kettering University’s Student Alumni Council president, Jessica Forman, also recognized past SAC members for their many contributions to SAC and the Kettering/GMI Alumni Association Board.  In conclusion of the evening, the Southeast Michigan Chapter awarded four scholarships in the amount of $1,000 each to a freshman, sophomore, junior and senior.  They continue to raise funds for this effort.
