Indianapolis Chapter Alumni Golf Outing - June 16, 2008

Bear Slide Golf Club, a well respected Indiana venue.Almost 40 familiar faces met at Bear Slide Golf Club in Cicero, Ind., for the annual Indy/Kokomo Chapter Alumni Golf outing on June 16, 2008. The weather was a perfect 75 degrees, only 20 degrees cooler than the 2007 event held in August. Birdies were plentiful in the scramble format won by the team of Mike Nigh ’65, Larry Montag ’74, Mike Hadley ’76 and Brad McCafferty ’81, who posted a score of 61, ten strokes under par!

 

Past winners, Bob Utter '60, Ken Harmon '56, Goetz Schaefer '65 and Marion Smith '56, settled for second place, and vowed to be back next year with their Mike VanSlyke '70 congratulates the winners!
