Ford Alumni Golf Outing - August 11, 2007
The Woodlands of Van Buren, Romulus area was host to the annual Ford Alumni Golf Outing on August 11, 2007. Raj Nair '87, Ford's Key Champion to Kettering University and 2007 Alumni Award winner for Engineering Achievement received a theme golf head cover, acknowledging Raj's support of the University as a real "Bulldog".
Thirty-six Tiger Woods "wanna-bes" took their games to the Woodlands links on a hot, sticky August afternoon. Joining the Detroit area Ford Alumni were Bill Osborne '83, Ford VP for Canadian Operations and 2006 Detroit Chapter Distinguished Alumni Award Winner. Bill made the trip from Toronto to participate with Ford "Bulldog" colleagues.
Scott Belved '86, Mike Habel '86, and Bob Meyer '86 posted a nine under par 62 in the scramble format to claim the commemorative desk clock prizes.
