The first Southeast Michigan Alumni Chapter Golf Outing was held at the Woodlands of Van Buren on Saturday, August 15, 2009. High humidity and 90 degree heat didn't deter 28 alumni, current SAC (Student Alumni Council) students and Kettering staff, including Dennis Washington (VP for University Advancement), Viloa Sprague (Chief IT Officer) who played her first ever round of golf, Jack Stock (exec. director for Individual Giving) and Mike VanSlyke.
