Meet Quy Q. Phan

My dad escaped Vietnam in 1989 to create a better life for his children. My mom, two brothers and I came to the US in 1995. I first learned about Kettering from my brother who is also a student at the school. He said Kettering is one of the best engineering schools in the nation with its co-op program and demanding schedule. I always wanted a challenge, so Kettering was a perfect choice.

I believe the smallest act brings the greatest fortune. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for giving me a chance at a better life. THANK YOU!

For years I had been planning to attend Kettering University. However, when the time came to look at tuition costs, I was met with reality and forced to think of other colleges. With your help, I am able to attend Kettering and live my dream to the fullest.

I graduated from Oregon City H.S. in Portland.   As I prepared to embark on my next journey in life, I found myself terrified and yet excited.  At Kettering, I am pursuing a degree in Business Management, with a focus on Marketing.  I enjoy meeting new people and, most of all, being on my own.
