Dayton/Columbus Alumni Chapter, Beavercreek Reception - August 20, 2005

Former Kettering staff member, Harry McKinley, Beth Kirkham’78, and Alumni Board member, Rod Kirkham ‘75

Alumni and guests gathered at the Courtyard Marriott in Beavercreek, Ohio on Saturday, August 20, 2005 for an informal reception with the new Kettering University president, Stan Liberty.

Dr. Liberty talked to the group on how Dayton alumni can help better the school. The biggest areas are financial support and getting the good word out there.

Also among the guests was Kettering student, senior Jordan Hamilton. Jordan talked about his plans after graduation and asked alumni about their career and educational paths.

Alumni used this time to talk about possible events for next year. Some of the ideas were a dinner reception and a possible outing to see the Dayton Dragons minor league baseball team. If you have any additional ideas for an alumni event, please contact the Alumni Office.
