Class of 1955 50th Class Reunion Golf and Dinner Outing, Zehnder's of Frankenmuth, Frankenmuth Michigan - May 20, 2005

The Kettering University Office of Alumni Affairs hosted a special event this year during the Reunion Weekend activities for the class of 1955 Alpha Gamma Epsilon and the Phi Tau Alpha fraternities. There were 25 alumni and wives for the golf outing and 66 for dinner at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth in Frankenmuth, Michigan.

The day started out with 18 holes of golf on a day that couldn't have been more beautiful. The group got together 50 years after graduating from their alma mater, GMI, in which they are now lifetime members of the Golden Circle of Kettering/GMI's finest. After golf everyone gathered together at Zehnder's of Frankenmuth for the home-style chicken dinners that they all remembered so well. The awards were given to the 3 winners of the golf scramble, Diane Midgley, Bob Bazzell and John Stevenson. The surprise came when the winner of the putting contest took home nothing while the one who scored the highest took home a video tape of how to prove your short game! The day was enjoyed by all and was a wonderful successful reunion for the Alpha Gams and the Phi Tau's of 1955.
