Almost 100 percent of Kettering undergraduates receive financial aid/scholarships. The concern over college affordability continues to increase, requiring a need to keep tuition low while finding new sources for merit and need-based financial aid. Together with others, your philanthropic support can help address this concern and make an important difference for current Kettering students.
Alumni Participation Matters
- Alumni participation really matters and helps to increase the value of your degree. Ranking agencies like US News and World Report consider the percentage of alumni who participate in giving an indicator of alumni satisfaction with the university and incorporate in their ranking equations.
- Corporations and Foundations periodically inquire about the level of alumni support before making a commitment of their own.
- The above rankings also serve to increase the value of a degree from Kettering and hence your degree.
Company Matching Gifts
Many businesses and corporations match personal gifts to Kettering made by their employees, retirees, directors, and their family members. Visit our online search engine to see if your employer participates then contact your Human Resources Office for more information and to receive the form. Return the matching gift form with your gift and Kettering will do the rest. If you made a donation earlier this year, you can still return the matching gift form and the University will be able to receive the matching gift.
