Next Steps
Step 1: Send in your Enrollment Deposit
Please confirm your enrollment and secure your place in the class by submitting the $300 Enrollment Deposit. You may pay your deposit online (Discover or MasterCard cards only) or you may send a check payable to Kettering University to:

Please include the student's complete name and address on the check.
You must use the login information provided by the admissions office in order to complete the next steps.
Step 2: Submit your resume and prepare for the co-op employment search
All admitted students will be mailed a Prep for Success Co-op Booklet that gives detailed information on resume preparation and submission to Kettering Connect. A resume is required in order to begin the co-op job search process.

Step 3: Submit the FAFSA
The FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) form is your ticket to financial aid opportunities. While many families think they won't be eligible, with $90 billion available in federal financial aid, Kettering encourages ALL families to complete the FAFSA. Step 4: Take the On-line Math Placement exam.
All entering students who have not received transfer credit or Advanced Placement credit for the first calculus course, Math 101, are required to take the Mathematics Placement (MP) exam. Step 5: Complete and submit your Housing Contract & Wellness/Medical Form - these items will be available by the end of February
Housing Contract
All incoming students are expected to reside on campus and have a full meal plan for the academic portion of their first year at Kettering University. For more information, contact our Residence Hall Office at 800-955-4464, ext. 9503.
Health and Medical History Form
Kettering University requires all students to submit proof of health insurance once each academic year. Upon receipt of an enrollment deposit, we provide all new students with complete information regarding health insurance policies and procedures, including requirements for our verification process. Note that students who fail to provide proof of health insurance each year by their designated deadline date (which will be communicated prior to new students' enrollment) will automatically be enrolled in Maksin's Student Insurance Program and billed accordingly.
Kettering's health and counseling services are free to all students. However, if a student is in need of a referral for a medical specialist, lab work, x-rays, specialized medical procedures or an emergency outside of our center, either the student and/or the student's insurance company will be responsible for the cost.
