Graduate Admission

"My Kettering degree was not an easy achievement, but nothing good in life is easy, and as I prepare for graduation, I am honored to join the ranks of Kettering's alumni!" -Jim

Kettering Graduate Program admissions can be completed in 3 simple steps
  1. Determine which graduate degree or graduate certificate meets your needs.
  2. Complete an Admissions Application This will take approximately 15 minutes and there is no fee or charge. (International students please see International Checklist)
  3. Request all required materials, including official transcripts and Letters of Recommendation (letters are only required for Engineering programs and the Lean Manufacturing program and these Letters of Recommendation are available when you complete the online admissions application), to be mailed to Kettering University's Graduate Office.

Please note that academic tests (GMAT, GRE) are NOT required.

Notification of Admissions Decision

Please allow up to four (4) weeks for review of your application materials. An application packet will not be reviewed until all required materials have been received. Most applicants should receive a written decision via postal mail within 2-4 weeks; however, delays may be caused by Kettering shut down days, excessive flow of applications, etc.

An admission application may be completed and submitted by U.S. mail, fax, or online (online applications are accepted for domestic applicants only) along with all other necessary document(s).

The Academic Department Review Committee will not review an admission file until it contains all required materials.

Kettering University does not discriminate by reason of an individual's race, color, sex, creed, age, handicap, or national origin. No one is admitted to the program without a bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college (or the equivalent in the case of International applicants).
