Physics majors who wish to pursue a concentration in Applied Optics and have it designated on their transcript, must complete all the requirements for the Applied Optics Minor with one addition: Their research project for PHYS-498, Senior Research must be an optics project. In addition, the Applied Physics electives which count towards their degree cannot be used to complete the concentration.
