Our Actuarial program is a leading undergraduate program in the country. It satisfies the standards of the Society of Actuaries and its true strength is in providing students with actuarial work experience. Our students work for world's leading actuarial companies, like Towers-Watson, through Kettering's co-op employment program. As a result, the passing rate of actuarial exams is nearly 100% at Kettering versus about 50% nationwide.
The curriculum emphasizes calculus, probability and statistics, time series, financial mathematics and life contingencies.
