Literature Minor

As the world shrinks, professionals come into contact with people from many different cultures—as colleagues, as business partners, as customers and as vendors. An understanding and appreciation of the richness and diversity of the human experience can only help communication and cooperation.

At Kettering, the Literature Minor covers a broad range of topics including

  • American literature—including multi-cultural literature—and philosophy;
  • drama, including Shakespeare and other masterpieces; and
  • literature from outside the United States.

Special topics courses and independent study are also available.

Students who wish to earn a minor in Literature and have it designated on their transcript must successfully complete four courses (16 credits) as listed below.
