Introduction and Why It's Important
Higher Learning Commission (HLC) accreditation is one of the best ways we have to demonstrate the quality of our processes, services, and operations to our stakeholders. Accreditation enables us to hire highly qualified faculty and staff members; it enables our students to receive financial aid and the other services they deserve in their pursuit of a Kettering education.
Kettering University's HLC Self-Study Team has been preparing for the next visit by our HLC evaluation team, scheduled for February 2014. Work began earlier this year, following a campus-wide call for volunteers and the receipt of nominations from academic department heads and vice presidents.
