Kettering University produces some of the finest graduates in science, engineering, mathematics, and business in the world, and the success of its alumni stands in testament to the excellence of the work the university does daily. Just as we teach our students, Kettering is committed to self-examination and continuous improvement.
Since 1962, Kettering has been accredited by The Higher Learning Commission and is a member of the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The HLC will return to campus in Febraury 2014. The university is preparing for the visit under the guidance of the Planning and Assessment Council (PAC).
Growing out of efforts from the Higher Learning Commission's 2007 visit, PAC was officially formed in October 2010. PAC is comprised of a steering committee and task forces with membership representative of all aspects of the Kettering community.
PAC will advise the president and all university units (including divisions, departments, and offices) with regard to strategic planning and assessment activities. In addition, PAC provides a forum for sharing information about such activities by and with all recognized planning/assessment units.
